The Cash Assistance Programme in the municipality of Zahony, Hungary, aimed to support both Hungarian recipients and refugees from Ukraine.
In 2023, rowsquared was engaged by UNICEF’s Europe and Central Asia Regional Office to assess this programme’s effectiveness and understand the diverse vulnerabilities of beneficiary households.
As part of the assessment, the municipality collected data from cash assistance recipients. Our firm was in charge of handling data entry from paper-based surveys, ensuring accurate digitalisation for further analysis.
Following meticulous data cleaning, we conducted an in-depth analysis to assess the programme’s effectiveness and beneficiary satisfaction.
The findings were synthesized into a 25-page report, offering key insights and actionable recommendations for UNICEF.
The report provides guidance on improving future aid distribution, helping UNICEF better address the needs of vulnerable populations through targeted, effective support.
