Vanessa is a researcher with strong analytical and problem-solving skills developed in academic physics research. She now applies these skills to data science with a drive to achieve a broader impact. She is currently pursuing an MITx MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science, deepening her knowledge in statistical methods, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. Vanessa holds a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London (UK) and MSci in Physics from the University of Durham (UK). She is based in Edinburgh, UK, and speaks fluent Slovene, English and German.
