Sofía is a researcher passionate about the use of data and evidence to fight poverty and inequality. Originally coming from the field of physics, she is now deploying her analytical skills in international development. She has experience in academic research and data analysis for product development, as well as management of non-profit projects in developing countries. At Rowsquared, she implements machine learning algorithms to improve survey processes.

Sofía holds a MSc in Multidisciplinary Research from University Pompeu Fabra and is about to start a Masters in Data, Economics and Development Policy at MIT.

She is based in Spain and speaks fluently Spanish and English, and some Catalan and French.
