Andrés Arau has experience in the design and implementation of real-time innovative data management systems that facilitate ongoing learning, adaptation, and accountability of development programmes. He mainly focuses on the design of Result Management Systems (RMS) for large adaptive programmes, the development of online dashboards, and the deployment of interactive maps. By having led several household surveys in developing countries, Andres has also gained considerable expertise in the design and implementation of complex quantitative data collection exercises.

He holds an MSc in Economic Development and Growth from Lund University and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a BA in Economics from the University of Ottawa.

Andrés is based in Madrid and speaks fluent Spanish and English, and some Portuguese.
